Dr. Glenn Donovan is the attending podiatrist at Quality First Urgent Care and Parcare medical group. He is also the Podiatry consultant for Group Health Incorporated/Emblem health. He graduated Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College and graduated Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency with the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals. He is also a fellow, with American Professional Wound Care Association.
He has been a key speaker on lectures about Diabetes and Your Feet, Diabetes Awareness, Sports Podiatry, Geriatric Podiatric Medicine, Motivational Interviewing of Patients with Diabetes, and others. His role at Doral Health and Wellness is to maintain normal mobility and function and prevent or correct patients’ deformities of the feet. He helps to relieve pain and treat infections and skin, nails, soft tissue, and connective tissue problems.
Dr. Michael Jurewicz is an American Board of Urology – Certified MD. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer of TriMed Homecare Services Inc., and he’s a Private Practice Urologist for Men’s Health, Andrology, Infertility in M2C Medical Group, Brooklyn. He is also an Executive Board Member for Community Outreach on Put on a Smile, Inc. In addition to that, he is a Private Practice Urologist for Vantage Medical Associates PC.
Dr. Jurewicz graduated BS in Brain Behavior and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan and graduated Medical Doctor from Wayne State University. He then completed his internship and was a urology resident at the University of Miami.
At Doral Health and Wellness, he performs a range of tests to determine what the problem is and to locate the problem. A urine test may be performed to check for bacteria and other signs of disease. He provides his services making sure you keeptrack of a healthy urinary tract.
Ms. Lizet Johnston is a New York State Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner. She is currently the Field Nurse (Nurse Assessor) for Elderplan MLTC. She identifies member functional needs based on diagnoses and medications. She is a certified registered nurse in the New York State Board and she is American Red Cross licensed to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. She uses ICD codes for diagnosis documentation. She coordinates care for members with the Care management team.
Ms. Johnston’s area of expertise includes policies and procedures, UAS-NY assessment, EKG, IV Therapy, ICD coding, eClinical works, and the like. At Doral Health and Wellness, she provides primary healthcare services to patients. Her background and training differ from that of general practitioners but she can assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe and educate you about your condition(s) and wellness.
Dr. Indrani Persaud is a New York State licensed family physician and a Diplomate from the American Academy of Family Physicians. At the Family Health at Mount Hope Family, he provides outpatient primary care services to all age groups in a medically underserved community. He was a family physician who provided outpatient care to adult patients in Kansas/Missouri area and was formerly a government medical officer in Guyana.
Dr. Persaud graduated College of Medicine from the University of Al-Mustansiriyah in Baghdad, IQ. He provided services to veterans in the urgent care department and covered inpatient and transitional care facilities. At Doral Health and Wellness, he provides definitive care to the undifferentiated patient at the point of first contact and takes continuing responsibility for providing the patient’s comprehensive care.
Dr. Farag Ayman is currently the Appointed Acting Director for Anesthesia and Pain Management Department at St. John’s Hospital Far Rockaway. He was formerly the Director of the Pediatric Anesthesia at Brookdale University Hospital, NY.
He graduated from the University of Zagazig Egypt with a degree in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery & Internship. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Anesthesia and in Pediatric Anesthesia. He has a few research works which include case presentations for Pionadal Cyst, Hypoplastic coronary syndrome, CS for cardiac women, and post epidural encephalopathy.Dr. Ayman also has a background in doing his practice in Egypt. He was a Resident Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine at Kobre El Koba Hospital in Cairo. He was also a resident in the Department of Anesthesia at Sohag giving him a wide experience in inpatient wards and ICU.
Doral Health and Wellness patients can expect him to evaluate their pain and treat a wide range of pain problems. He treats pain problems such as headaches and many types of long-lasting, chronic, pain such as low back pain, etc.
Dr. Thompson is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and Optometrist. He graduated Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University and graduated Doctor of Optometry from Suny Optometry. He was formerly an eye care advisor for LensCrafters.
He is professionally affiliated with the American Optometric Association and the Lions Club International. His clinical interests include irregular corneas and contact lenses, cataract management, IOL technologies, and glaucoma diagnosis and management. At Doral Health and Wellness, he focuses on taking a holistic approach to eye care, offering patients a greater understanding of the eye’s anatomy, physiology, and diseases.
Dr. Ziyad A. Mansur is a licensed and certified doctor at the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He graduated and received his Medical Degree from the American University of Beirut School of Medicine and completed his residency at the said medical center and became a fellow in New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Mansur participated since 1978 in teaching medical students, interns, residents nurses, and medical staff in different aspects of obstetrics, gynecology, infertility laser, and microscopic surgery. His special interests include GYN endoscopic surgery, diagnostic, and major GYN surgery. He also is helping Doral Health and Wellness patients with reproductive endocrinology, laser surgery technology, cervical pathology -colposcopy, hysteroscopic surgery, and urogynecologist surgery.
Dr. Jack Husney MD is an American Board of Internal Medicine: Gastroenterology Board Eligible. He graduated Doctor of Medicine from St. Matthew’s University. He then completed his internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center and was Chief Medical Resident in the same institution. He is a Fellow in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Along with his fellow doctors in the field, Dr. Jack Husney has two scholarly publications entitled Endoscopic ultrasound-fine needle aspiration and Gastric bypass outlet reduction by use of a single-channel endoscope. Both added verifiable, and valuable contributions to the medical field. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal endoscopy and the study of liver diseases. Patients can expect Dr. Husney to offer his services regarding conditions and diseases that impact the gastrointestinal system. He will help them find out what their next steps are, and begin down the path toward treatment and a better quality of life.
Ester Priegie is a licensed clinical social worker. She graduated Bachelor of Arts, Sociology, and Spanish Literature, Minor in American Studies in American Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, New York, in 1995.She also took her Master’s degree in Social Work at Fordham University, in 1999.
She is skilled and is a multi-faceted professional offering an exceptional performance record. She helps meet the basic and complex needs of communities and people. She assists Doral Health and Wellness patients by providing information and consultation to community assets including other services within the agency. She also provides in-person and tele-counseling sessions to young patients experiencing psychosocial difficulties.
Dr. Sergey Terushkin is a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine and he completed his residency training in General Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
He specializes inInvasive bariatric surgery and he combines advanced surgical techniques with sensitive care. He makes sure to customize the treatment plans according to the specific needs of each of his patients. Practicing at Doral Health & Wellness, Dr. Brian Lee is a passionate and skilled podiatrist. He caters to the podiatric needs of the locals of New York, NY, and strives to ensure all his patients feel well cared for. Dr. Lee completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware, followed by his master’s degree at Barry University. Furthermore, he earned his doctorate in podiatric medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Post medical training, he completed a residency in podiatry at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Hassid is a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist who is a recognized expert in Transradial and complex Percutaneous Interventions. Dr. Hassid has more experience with Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Care than other specialists in his area. His clinical interests include complex coronary intervention, cardiovascular disease, chronic total occlusion angioplasty, and endovascular intervention.
Dr. Babak Hassid is affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital Northwell. While a doctor at the Doral Health & Wellness Cardiology Center, he serves as the Associate Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab; Dr. Hassid serves as the Associate Director of the Cardiac Care Unit at Lenox Hill Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Hassid has served on the faculty at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University as well. Dr. Hassid is a graduate of Upstate Medical University at Syracuse, NY, and completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset. Dr. Hassid completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Weill-Cornell. Upon completion, he joined the Interventional Cardiology Faculty at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University.
Dr. Guirguis started his first practice in Park Slope Brooklyn in 1987. Dr. Guirguis graduated from Cairo medical school and went on to specialize in general surgery as well as extensive training in plastic and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Dessner is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He specializes in no-stitch small incision cataract surgery, muscle surgery, lasers, as well as comprehensive eye examinations for glaucoma, diabetes, and other eye diseases. He has a fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology from the world-famous Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
